A FALLEN SOLDIER

It is a sad time for the teaching fraternity in Kenya as they mourn the death of Mr. David Okuta  Osiany. The 61 years old secretary general of the Kenya Union of Teachers died after being rushed to Nairobi Women’s Hospital due to breathing problems. Sadly he succumbed to the long time illness. He had been discharged from Agakhan Hospital late last year where he spent 3 weeks. The chairman of KNUT   William Sossion sent his condolences to the family and echoed that a great man has been lost. David was on the key front in the fight for the rights of teachers in Kenya.

RIP sir we hope they will always remember his hard work and keep it going since there is still a lot lacking in the Kenyan education system.
